    College and Finanacial Aid??

Posted by admin on June 2nd, 2010 and filed under finanacial services | 2 Comments »

Okay this is the situation, my husband is a disable veteran. When I say disabled, I mean 100% service connected from the military and the VA has labeled him unemployable. About 8-9 months ago, he wanted to be busy so he enrolled in Axia College (its the sister school of University of Phoenix – you do all the classes online). He made sure to finish all the classes he started, but had to quit due to medical reasons. As it stands now, he will never be able to attend school again for med. reasons. The school (for some reason) had to give back the unused student loan to citibank, but now the school wants that money.. even though it wasn’t used to attend classes. It totals like $1000, but my husband lives on a small compensation payment from the va.. he can’t work, so that’s all he gets. Is their a wavier or some way to fight this bill because of his medical conditions? Any information on this would be helpful. Thanks!

I would strongly suggest that you check with VA.

would going door to door to small business with a flyer be productive or non productive use of time?

Posted by admin on May 26th, 2010 and filed under finanacial services | 4 Comments »

Small town finanacial service company looking to erase the tax burden small business owners find themselves in during retirement.

I would say it depends on who is going door to door. It would have to be a person knowledgable of the company so that any questions people have could be answered on the spot. It’s a reflection of the quality of work that is to be expected if people being payed real money or the owners are willing to put in the work as opposed to paying someone 6 bucks an hour to run around and just leave flyers.
